When Mike joined Connect Source in 2016, he brought vast telecommunications, telematics and software management experience into the business.
With dual roles as CEO and Director, he’s also focused on our sales strategy and our unique Development Journey framework.
When businesses need help with a problem, Mike helps them find a workable solution.
He appreciates working with a team of people who are determined to make things happen for our customers. It’s a great match for his natural ‘get it done’ attitude.
When Mike’s not at work, you’ll find him developing his expertise on the golf course or doing a spot of travelling with his family.
Before joining Connect Source, Murray built a career working in electrical industrial controls in various industries, with a specific production focus.
In 2006, as his father-in-law, Spencer, considered retirement, he invited Murray to join his auto electrical manufacturing business – Connect Source. They worked together until Spencer retired in 2010. Murray then bought and began managing the business.
In 2016, he invited Mike Wishart to join the team. After a successful year together, they became equal shareholders and Mike took on the role of Managing Director.
Murray is now less active in the day-to-day running of Connect Source. He retired from an executive role in July 2019 to spend more time with his family and pursue an interest in farming.
Ian joined the Connect Source team in 2021 bringing with him a range of knowledge in national and international markets.
He brings practical experience, business acumen and a strong focus on Customer Service to the company. Degree qualified in Metallurgy he has post graduate qualifications in Marketing, Management and Customer Service.
Ian has worked in a range of industries including steel, aluminium, car and rail industries and has been responsible for running businesses with a turnover ranging from $8M to $800M. Passionate about collaboration, Ian wishes to be a catalyst, encouraging local companies to work togethe to solve business issues and to provide a superior product/service to Customers.
Outside of work you will find Ian, on/ under the water depending whether his boat is upright. He also enjoys spending time with his family and completing DIY projects.
Chief Financial Officer
Wee En joined Connect Source in 2020, bringing expertise and experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, ERP and process improvement, strategy and taxation. He spent over two decades working in public practice, transportation, and civil engineering construction.
As a finance professional, Wee En’s focus is on compliance and business processes, including accurate and timely financial reporting.
He enjoys working with Connect Source’s supportive management team who share a clear vision and mission to achieve.

When Wee En is away from work, he spends time helping his community group, enjoying outdoor and indoor gatherings with friends, spending quality time with his family, and going on holidays.
One of his favourite sayings is,
‘Millions of milestones to achieve.’
Retail Sales and Product Manager
When Enrico joined the Connect Source team in 2015, he’d spent over two decades in B2B and B2C sales. His diverse experience included purchasing, forecasting and communications.
Today, Enrico’s focus is on creating the best customer experience possible.
He encourages his team members to support each other in finding the best solution to meet each customer’s requirements.
‘I try to improve our processes so it’s as easy as possible for our team to find the right parts in our ERP system.’
Enrico loves the team environment at Connect Source. He feels the balance between positive feedback and constructive criticism is just right to drive improvement. He enjoys being a positive influence on the development and success of the company.
Enrico believes in treating others how he would like to be treated. He loves spending time with family and friends and sharing activities with them.
Mark came to Connect Source in 2012 as an electrician. He designed and manufactured looms and AC panels, and conducted onsite testing of lighting tower installations.
Now, his role as Production Manager includes full responsibility for all manufacturing, including scheduling design, drafting, manufacturing and QA.
He draws on his practical manufacturing knowledge and experience to find the best solution or quality product to meet each customer’s needs.
Mark believes everyone at Connect Source wants to provide the best experience for their customers and their peers.
‘I love the culture in the business. There is a real family feel to working here.’
Mark jokingly refers to himself as Mr GSD (Gets Stuff Done). He has two little boys who keep him busy in the evenings and on weekends. When he gets the time, he likes to clear his head cycling in the fresh air.
Customer Operations Manager
When he joined Connect Source in 2019, Tim brought 16 years of diverse customer service experience and expertise to the team.
He specialises in customer service reporting and analytics, process design, and business improvement initiatives. He’s also a bit of an Excel guru!
Tim is part of our After-Sales Support team for Guardian by Seeing Machines. He helps customers get set up with the online tools to monitor fleet performance.
He enjoys the family atmosphere, strong values and culture at Connect Source.
‘We’re local people helping our customers be safer and smarter.’
Tim sincerely believes you can’t work on an empty stomach or without coffee! That’s why his favourite question is, ‘what do you want for lunch?’
As a 4WD enthusiast – he loves going bush and camping. Playing on his PS4 also helps Tim escape from the world for a while.
Director Support Services
Michelle has been on the Connect Source team as the Director of Support Services since 2018.
She is an experienced specialist in System and Process Improvement, and ERP integrations.
Her main focus at Connect Source is to enhance the customer experience we deliver by implementing process improvements within the business.
Michelle particularly enjoys the team atmosphere that exists at Connect Source.
When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her family, and her dogs. She’s also fond of a spot of home improvement.
Richard joined Connect Source in 2018, having spent over 15 years in the mining services industry as a Business Development and Sales and Marketing specialist.
He’s dedicated to helping customers improve business performance by developing and delivering solutions to complex business problems.
He helps our customers become aware, educated and empowered to implement solutions that solve important business challenges, for example, fatigue and distraction management in transport.
For Richard, two huge benefits of working at Connect Source are the people and the entrepreneurial spirit.

In his downtime, Richard loves socialising at cafes, soaking up the atmosphere and natural light while enjoying the food, and a strong flat white.
Jo joined Connect Source in early 2019 as Executive Assistant to CEO, Mike Wishart.
Bringing more than 20 years’ experience to the team, Jo’s expertise includes providing high level executive and administrative support, co-ordination of events and catering for the masses.
Jo has had a varied and interesting career working in Sales, Human Resources and Marketing within the Corporate, Not-for-Profit and Education sectors. This makes her skillset quite unique in being able to see the whole picture. She enjoys working with the Connect Source team, providing quality outcomes for the Executive Group and Clients alike.
Jo is known to cook up a storm, and on the weekends loves to spend time with her husband, 3 teenagers and her 2 fluffy dogs…. she may or may not prefer the dogs. 😝

Human Resources Officer
Tasha joined Connect Source in September 2020 as the HR Officer.
Tasha comes from a background of HR with over 7 years’ experience in varied roles and prides herself in being able to advocate for employees while ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed.
Tasha enjoys working at Connect Source because of the team environment and the company values that are endorsed by all employees.
In Tasha’s down time she likes to take walks with her family and being outdoors.
