Supporting Road Safety Education Initiatives

The team at Connect Source were proud to sponsor TranSafeWA's fundraiser dinner held in May.

TranSafeWA is a not-for-profit industry initiative with the vision of aiding the delivery of safer transport industry workplaces and roads by fostering and promoting safer practices. They deliver events and projects for both the road transport industry and the general public focused on safe heavy vehicle operations and interactions.

One of TranSafeWA’s current projects is the launch of their new iNSTRUCKTA program, a safety truck resource that will travel the state educating West Australians how to share the road safely with heavy vehicles. Educating and raising awareness around the importance of road safety for all users, is crucial to save lives and prevent serious injuries.

To support the launch of iNSTRUCKTA, Connect Source donated a Guardian by Seeing Machines and a RealWear HMT (Head Mounted Tablet) for auction. The auction raised over $5,000 for TranSafeWA and will help them continue working to build INSTRUCKTA!

On the night there was a live auction for the two items, which grew quite lively and entertaining for all the guests.

Thank you for your ongoing support to the Auction Winning Bidders:

Goldstar Transport - Sean Carren (RealWear HMT)

Matic Transport - Danny Matic (Guardian by Seeing Machines)
